at gymnastics during warm ups we always do back bends and hold it for awhile and every time we do my wrists start to hurt really bad and I dont know why. Has this ever happened to anyone else? does anyone know why?

It is probably because you have unflexible shoulders, or at least I know that can cause wrist pain during back bends. Because if your shoulders don't bend enough your wrists have to bend more, or something.
