Back skill fear

First, slow down. If you're afraid of a back bend, you shouldn't even be thinking about back handsprings or tucks. We need more information to be able to help you as best we can over the Internet. Had you been able to do a back tuck for a while, lost it, and began to fear all back tumbling? Or have you never had it before?
Either way, you need to go back to progressions. For the back bend, start by walking your hands down a wall until you're totally comfortable. Then back bend onto a mat until you're comfortable.
Exactly what you do next depends on you're previous skill level. But basically go to the easiest progression you can do (whether it's with a spot or using mats) and work your way up.

Thx I have always had an incredible fear of back skills. I have done 1 back bend against the wall but have balked allo ther times so I will take your advice.
