My daughter had gymnast wrist and had to stop training back handsprings on beam. I believe that this is what led to the gymnast wrist. Should she just skip working on back handsprings and move to a back tuck? Once the season is over, she will start uptraining for next season. It’s been a whole season since she has trained back handsprings. She is xcel track so she has more flexibility.

Hi! She should start working on back tucks, it might be easier on her wrist. I am an xcel diamond who competes aerial back tuck connection and have never had a backhand spring on beam so in my experience it is way easier!
