Hello - I’ve found some older threads on Bay Area gyms but wanted to see if there was some updated input out there. As far as I know, the best in the Bay Area/peninsula are Airborne, San Mateo, Accel. I read in another forum that the coaching philosophies are very different at each - can anyone expand more on that? I’ve had a not so great trial experience for my daughter at one of these, but wondering if a second chance is warranted.
Also, I’ve heard of/seen Bayshore Elite (Redwood City) Peninsula Gymnastics (San Mateo), and Gymtowne (SSF and HMB) but they have less upper level gymnasts/teams. Does anyone know of these or had experiences here?
When do you think about switching from a gym without many upper level gymnasts to one with a more robust upper level program?
