My daughter needs a wrist brace for beam for both wrists. It’s been recommended by her PT to wear them on a long term basis due to ongoing wrist issues. She doesn’t like tiger paws on beam because she says they are slippery. Can anyone recommend a brace for beam that would give her good support for back walkovers and back handsprings but won’t feel slippery? Thanks!

I have heard good things about Skids Wrist Supports, The Ultimate Wrist Support, the Hyper Wrist Support, and the Short Wrist Support by Ten-O, and the Reisport Gymnastic Wrist Support. None of them are actually on the palm of the hand, so no slipping like with Tiger Paws.

I used golden hands and now qalaro withare similar to tiger paws and never had problems with sliding however lots have switch to something this style https://gymsupply.com/ezy-pro-wrist...RG20dtUkPi72A2TDqEjO6mc2RFDa51ixoCp5wQAvD_BwE I have never used them but have been recommended them by several people
I like the Ezywrap wrist brace. The palm guard is awesome- it raises your palm off the ground a bit similar to elevating the heels on a squat to assist with the ankle's ROM. It's detachable so could be used for beam.

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
