My ds has been competing level 8 but does not know the tech sequences. The coach told him he can compete JD at states, but I am not sure he is old enough? He really doesn’t want to relearn the 7 routines. Does anyone know if he is allowed to compete JD?

I do not think so. I thikn you have to be 12.

They changed it this year, I believe. Last year you had to be 12, but this year you can be 11.

Oh that is good. I thought I had seen 11 some where but did not go to the updates!!

This year an 11 year old can compete JD. Glad it’s an option for your son.
