I'm having a lot of trouble with a consistent cartwheel on beam. Some of it is that I get scared, but most of the time I'm not sure why I fall off. I get my first foot on but then fall right off.
I really want to get this consistent so I can move onto double cartwheels for platinum next year. (I'm xcel gold right now)
Competitions are coming up soon, and I have a back injury so can't compete back walkovers right now. I've tried backward rolls but my coaches don't really know much about them and it's hard for them to teach me.
How do I get better at cartwheels on beam? Anything I can do other than doing them over and over?
Any help would be super appreciated!
