I love NAIGC!! It is so fun. Overall it is more casual. In the midwest region, it is very casual. It is an open gym style practice, and women can do the men's events, and men can do the women's events! You can also do the decathlon (all ten events combined). Or if you are crazy, at nationals you can do the omnithon ( mens+womens+TNT). Most teams don't really care about scores, it's all about having fun. In the midwest after each competition their is a party that is usually themed (like barbie, or mythical creatures etc.), although I'm not quite sure if this is a thing a lot of college clubs do or if it's just a midwest thing. NAIGC's motto is "for the love of sport" and I really find that to be true.

It is going to vary a lot depending on the college. I would look to see if you can find any info for colleges that you would consider attending.

We went to a meet once because a family member competed club in her senior year of college. There was a huge variety of skills being competed like level 3 mill circle on bars and some doing chs and giants. Some doing level 4 front handspring vault. Some doing back handsprings or tucks on beam and others cartwheels.

My neighbor's daughter is in club for a large state college. There are almost 30 girls on the team. Their skill level is from 6-9 and they use level 8 and 9 scoring. They practice at a local gym 2x a week in an open gym format.
