Parents Dead Period

Figured I would put this here..it doesn't fit really one spot.

NCAA just extended the dead period thru the end of August. That will effectively end any hope that camps will be going (College camps). Recruiting is definitely tough for this 2021 class!

True. There are no D2 men's programs so I do tend to forget that

CSCAA Asks NCAA to Extend Recruiting Restrictions until April 2021

The industry group that represents collegiate swim coaches says they have around 87% support for their request to the NCAA to extend recruiting restrictions.

Basically this means there will be no recruiting for almost any sport this year. So high school seniors are getting screwed before they even start their senior year? How does anyone see this as a benefit to all those athletes that have worked their butts off for decades.

So sorry for all of you that have juniors and seniors this year!

They are still doing recruiting. It just looks very very different.

Let's hope so, but I think it will be much harder for those that haven't been on the list already and talking to recruiters.
