Hey!
My DD is a level 6. They never worked on walkovers a lot, although she is quite good at them. 8 days ago, they had a "show" at the gym and she did a row of front walkovers and front limbers. Front limbers were fine, but when she did the walkovers, she said she felt some discomfort in her back.
As I said, there have never ever been any back issues till now.
She says it happened because in a walkover, one side of the back (when her leg goes down to the floor) is bent more than the other one, causing more stress on one side.
Now she feels tender on her mid back, left beside the spine.
It doesn't get worse with exercise, it doesn't really hurt when walking or running, she just feels it. But when she sits for a longer time, or when lying in bed, she feels it and the "cramp" or "aching" runs down the spine to the buttocks.
There is no swelling or anything, but it feels like a tesion when you touch it. It is just beside the spine and runs down, but the tender spot is on top.
What could that be? We are going to the doc asap, just wanted some statement before I get totally insane here!
She has a meet next week
