Hi! I’m a level 7 gymnast who currently competes clear hip handstand on both the low bar and high bar. Still, I am working on giants because I know I will need them for the future. Right now I have them, but they are very inconsistent and I have a problem with piking my hips on the upswing and then arching. I have attached two videos from different angles (one successful and one unsuccessful attempt). Let me know of any drills to fix my giants, and any other advice you have to offer.

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
