DS had an incident of grip lock a few weeks ago. Luckily he was fine although a bit freaked out. His wrist (the one that had surgery 2 years ago) was a bit tender for a week, but now he's pain free.
So I bought him new grips, measure out his hands and he is dead in the middle of size 1. I compared the new ones to the old ones and the old ones are about 1/2 and inch longer.
Now I am worried that the new ones will be too small.......I asked coach to take a look and decide before he chalks them up.....any opinions on this?

I think the coach is the best one to make the call -- needs to be someone with a lot of experience who can see the grips on the hands.

Have the coach look, although if he had an incident of grip lock, then the grips were probably stretched too much. He won't like the smaller ones at first, but they will get better.

Let us know what the coach says.

Ok, thanks! Will scrutinize grips tonight (with experts of course!)
