I've been lurking around for some time. I am finally introducing myself. My daughter just turned 7. She does competive gymnastics and competitive cheer. She loves it! She is level 2 this year, but will move up to level 4 in June. I am so glad I found this site. I know absolutely nothing about gymnastics. I have found so much information here.

My daughter will be 7 in a couple weeks. She's just starting competition as well, level 3 right now. But she just learned her roundoff back handspring so I bet she'll move up to level 4 soon. Good luck to your daughter!!!

Mkarloff, congratulations to your daughter. Roundoff back handspring is really big. My daughter just learned her round off back handspring back tuck last week. She was so excited, grinning from ear to ear. Her coach came out and asked did I see it. He was excited too.
