Tape
grips can help before they get
grips, but I would talk to her coaches and see if they think that's a good idea. Otherwise I would say Vaseline/Aquaphor or Rip Fix or anything else you can find for fixing rips that works well for her - might take some experimentation, in fingerless gloves or you can just use socks. The bonus with getting gloves is you can tape popsicles sticks to the middle finger overnight to keep the palms open. This process helps to keep the rips moist to foster healing, while keeping them covered to prevent whatever you are using from getting everywhere. Basically don't let them dry out. Don't clip the skin off if you can avoid it until it completely dries out. This will also aid in keeping them moist. What level is she? 7 is a little young for grips but if she already has a kip and is doing clearhips or giants it could be time to consider them.
