Hi, my daughter is getting her routine choreographed, one of the move is something like doing a cartwheel, land on both knees, then immediately bounce up to about 30-45 degrees then fall forward to a push up. I don’t know if I described this correctly but I’m pretty concerned about this move being landing on the knees and bounce up. She did one practice with no mat and the knees are swollen already. I think the problem is her weight being only 55lb, she needs to give a lot of force to bounce right up on the knee. I personally don’t think it’s worth it for choreograph to cause any physical damages. But I want to ask you guys opinions on if it’s safe. I know I can just talk to her coach but I also don’t want to be a problem parent, I’m sure the coaches don’t need a parent to tell them what to do. Thanks in advance.
