Hi, I am going to be a sophomore in HS next school year. My school area doesn't have many areas around me or athletes in general to train or have a HS gymnastics team. But some questions have came up at my school of maybe staring a HS team. I am thinking of joining it but have a few questions about it before making a decision. (for context, i am in Ohio)

1. What is the highest SV on bars/beam/floor for HS without a connection bonus?
(I saw a pdf of connection bonuses and I want to know how many connection bonuses I would need to get a 10 SV (saying I have all the special requirements and difficulty value).

2. What AA scores do you usually see gymnasts get who are XLG/XLP get in HS (which is level 8) compared to when they compete club gymnastics (I usually get 34s and 35s in XLG, but I am working on platinum for the upcoming season)

3. What are some easy releases and/or pirouettes to learn as an XLG/XLP?

Any questions you can help me answer are greatly appriciated!

Thank you!

These things vary so much by state that it is best to talk directly to someone involved in high school gymnastics in your state.

Here is the website: https://www.ohsaa.org/sports/gymnastics

If you click on the administrator's name, it will get you her email address. I would direct your questions to her.
