Anon Xcel sapphire=what level

What level is Xcel sapphire equivalent to? I’ve always heard level 9-10. But, are the bare minimum sapphire skills more like level 7 or 8? My daughter might compete sapphire and I wanted to see what the bare minimum skills would look like. I have a better idea of what level 7-8-9 skills look like than sapphire skills.

Thank you! Also is it true that in sapphire scoring you have to compete harder skills to get to a 10 start value? So, easier skills would have a lower start value? You need harder skills executed clean to get a good score, correct?

I think bare minimum would fall more into 8-ish vs. 7-ish.

I think the "base" sapphire is less than level 9, but a little bit harder than 8, certainly quite a leap from 7.

Sapphire requires 3 A, 3 B, and 1 C. So... definitely harder than level 7. Level 8 requires 4 A and 4 B and any allowable C skills only receive B credit.
The base SV for Sapphire is 9.6 ... they need to use bonus to get the other 0.4. Sapphire is allowed to do D skills, but Level 8 can't.
On vault, the SV are either the same as Level 8 or 0.1 lower than Level 8, depending on the vault.
