Ok So lately I've been feeling really tired and lacking energy and just an over all disinterest in wanting to put in a good work out, it's been like this for almost a week and I don't know what's causing this.

just wait until you are a former "adult gymnast". some days i wanna 'forget' where the gym is...:)

Could you take a break for a few days? Sometimes a little time away is all you need to revitalize you and make you want to be back in the gym.

Everyone goes through this whether is be workouts or just work in general! Just remember that "this too will pass" and you will get back into the swing of things!

The problem is I have been taking time off. I took three days off and It was like pulling teeth to get up and go work out. I mean I feel great afterwards, but getting up and actually doing it is the problem. Once I get going I'll go for hours. But that "should I take a nap or go work out" debate is daily. Even though I didn't have cheer today, I was on the fence of whether or not I wanted to take a nap or play wii fit yoga. I ended up doing yoga. I just feel like my drive has driven off.... :)

Is there something you can start working on to get yourself excited about going to the gym? A new skill, a long term goal, etc. Sometimes having a specific goal in mind can really help get that drive back on track.

I think it's typical for an adult. I suspect it's mostly mental due to everything that goes on around us (including boredom in general).

No matter how exciting something is to us initially, eventually things gets old. Then, we must count on lots of self motivation to get going again (unlike kids can count on getting pushed by one thing or another). I feel that way with anything that requires a physical effort for years. If you truly like what you're doing, this phase will quickly pass (but almost guarantied to return) and you'll be back to normal in no time. Finding something or someone stimulating will help you along.
