MAG Intro to competition

So DS is hooked, and we know this is where he is supposed to be. Our gym attended a fun competition this weekend (leg lifts hanging from the wall, pullovers, mushroom, step up on block, hold a handstand, still rings hold position, vertical leap and rope climb). It was a great experience and first competition as the parents and team members were encouraged to cheer on each athlete. DS and his fellow teammates did fantastic with DS leading the team with fifth place overall for the 5-6-7 age group. He is hooked and can't wait for January when competition season starts, his passion for the sport really showed, we are super proud of him. Though competition season/meets are different, this was a great intro to competition as none of the littles had been in a meet before. Our big boys did well too, taking home overall #1 team after factoring in all levels/ages. What a great weekend.

What a great introduction to competition season! Just wait- it just gets better. The little L4's are the best to watch. We go to their sessions just for fun now.

Yay for him and his team!! I have said before and stand by it: there is nothing on the planet cuter than L4 boys competing their first season. Great idea for an icebreaker competition, too!
