I've lurked for about a year and have learned a lot! My daughter is an 11 year old Level 6. She competed Prep Opt for 2 years and then last year went to Level 5. She had a great season and is looking forward to this season at Level 6. She actually has all of her Level 7 skills except for bars...she is just working on her fly away and has it with an 'almost spot' for now! Her favorite events are floor and beam. Looking forward to learning more from all of you on this list.

Welcome to CB. I have an almost 11 year old that is competing level 5 again this season but is also only missing her flyaway to compete level 6. Looking forward to hearing about how your DD is progressing!!

Welcome to the CB!! Add me to the list of having an 11 year old who will be competing Level B this season. It is kind of like Prep Opt with it all being optional. Level B is comparable to USAG level 5/6 skills.

Well, I don't have an 11 yo but wanted to say welcome anyway! My dd is nearly 9 and will be competing Level 7 this year. She too is still lacking the flyaway out of the giant but I'm crossing my fingers she gets it before the first meet. Looking forward to hearing more about your dd!

We are going to a meet in Virgina this year. It is the Rockstar Invite. Ever heard of it?

I've heard of it but we've never been. Unfortunately it's not on our meet schedule this year either. I think it's a fun meet, though!

Only the optionals are going. I have heard that is fun. It sure is a REALLY long drive. LOL! I hope it doesn't snow

How many hours is it from you? Yeah, snow is a definite concern that time of year!

7 hours(according to mapquest) we normally do flip fest in Tenn as our far travel meet. Due to some conflicts they replaced it with the VA meet.
