NCAA It's nationals week!

Based on what I saw at regionals, I see Florida winning but I think the all around battle will be very exciting - Jordan Chiles, Kailin Chio, Selena Harris Miranda, Anna Roberts, and more! And Maggie Slife of Air Force will be rotating with Oklahoma.

Idk, Florida has been so snakebitten at nationals for the last 10 years, until they show up and show out its hard for me to believe they will do it, although on paper I agree, they are the best performing team right now. Just that vault rotation....'

Also Brie Clark from Clemson will be rotating with Stanford! She is amazing!

I'm so excited for Nationals! I'm hoping for Florida to take it this year but will also be rooting for my hometown team, Minnesota. I ran into the MN team at the airport on Tuesday and the dork that I am was starstruck.

What a wild ride for Minnesota! First finals appearance in program history and the first time a school outside the top ten has made it!

And faith torrez is your national all around champion after not even competing the all around at all this year until today.

That was fun. Minnesota showing just being consistent can get you far. It has been a great ride for them this post-season. I dont think they are a legitimate threat for the title, but it is awesome that they got there and at the expense of UCLA.

I honestly think it will come down to Oklahoma and Florida. LSU just doesn't look sharp enough this year.

Agreed, of course the ol' "any given day" disclaimer with LSU, they have the talent, but for whatever reason there is always something with them this season. I mean Chio had a "bad" meet so I doubt she has two in a row, and OU had a vault rotation that probably will not be repeated so who knows? OU does a little worse, LSU does a little better, UF (Also had some room for improvement)? Minnesota does Minnesota 2026 and is steady eddy. Should be fun

The semis were interesting with Georgia pushing LSU until the last minute. Nice showing from them, the future looks good. Then Minnesota pushing UCLA from the beginning and going through. UCLA had that disastrous vault rotation, one more decent vault and they could have sneaked in despite not being super on.
Excited for the finals. OU had amazing vault but the rest can see some improvement, especially bars. Florida looks good with room for improvement too.
LSU looks a little less on in this post season, but maybe tomorrow is their on day.
I hope Minnesota has another good meet, and let see where it gets them.

Boomer Sooner again folks. No one had a truly dominant performance. I really thought it was Florida's year but they couldn't find their vault landings, and just generally got stuck in the 9.8s. Good but not good enough. They were in too big of a hole going into their best event and even bars wasn't the wow it can be. LSU also just didn't have that edge. Kailin Chio saved their vault rotation with her 10 but again, that sharpness wasn't quite there. I think everyone dropped a fall.

It was a good fight in that last rotation between OU and LSU. All of the teams had some imprecisions/mistakes, so it was interesting. I had no special favorite in this final, so I had some fun .

I enjoyed watching it. I do not usually watch women's (no streaming services) but I was able to watch yesterday. It was fun!

We went in person and it was SO much fun! My daughter has a former club teammate at Minnesota so we were able to get seats with their cheering section on Thursday night and it was crazy. It was exhausting (lol in a good way) organized cheers after every single routine. We all lost our voices, people were crying around us when they realized they made the final four, the energy was so exciting. We also went to the hotel send off for Minnesota Saturday and after my daughter was so excited to run into Maggie Slife and get a photo with her, such a sweet girl, she did amazing too!

I reaallllly thought LSU was gonna do it there at the end, it was so close. Personally I was rooting for Florida or Minnesota, but being there seeing all the amazing gymnastics in person was awesome no matter the outcome.
