Women Just because I feel like bragging

Hi everyone! Some of you know I've had some trouble with the group I coach so I feel like I can legitimately brag. So we just finished our 2nd meet of the season and we scored so much better Finished with 13 ribbons and 1 medal. There were 34 girls competing. Here ribbons are awarded for placing 5th to 8th place. If you're 9th, you go home empty handed.

So let's go back to training, now that they've added 2 new girls to our group...

Wow they really did so well. It is hard for US folk to understand what a big deal placing is in Canada as we really do not give out the awards the way they do in the US!!

Yes they did great, a little bit too much focused on scores, but still. They worked really hard since christmas. I'm glad they saw their hard work pay off.

One of the best feelings is the one that comes with being a part of something positive. It sounds like you've made a lot of progress, and that you've got the 'bug" for sure. Stay positive and work 'em hard.

Just because all of you have been a great help and have, I think, a small part in my gymnasts success, here are the results of today meet!

2 golds, 2 silvers, 3 bronzes and 15 ribbons!

I missed Canada's gold medal hockey game because of the 7am starting time. But I think it worth it.
