New here to the chalk bucket. I have a dd who just turned 7 and is on the pre team-she's been in gymnastics for about a year now. My ds (9)watched her get stronger and stronger, and decided to join himself last december. He's a level 3 and getting ready to move to pre team, too. we live at least a 1/2 hr. away from our gym, so I usually stay and watch their practices and I am very excited to see their progress! It's an amazing sport that I never had any interest in as a child myself-I danced. So I am learning right along with my kids!!
Very excited to see a gym forum where there are great parents and gymmies willing to share their experiences and concerns!!

Welcome to the CB! We are in AZ, too. My daughter is 7 1/2 and is finishing up level 4 and will be moving to level 5 in the summer. This is a great forum! I have learned a lot and made some great friends!

Welcome :) this is a wonderful place to share your thoughts in this crazy world of gymnastics and get good info-- My DD is a Level 5 and has been doing gymnastics since she was 2 and 1/2 (she's now 8). She really enjoys learning the new skills and competing so as long as she enjoys it we are supporting her (I too enjoy seeing her progress). We live 1/2hr away from the gym so I stay on the days she has a short practice and we carpool on the longer practice days with two other girls in our area that are on her team.

Welcome! I also have 3 kids in gymnastics (2 on team) and I drive to and from the gym ALL THE TIME. I have gotten used to the craziness of it all and would not trade it for anything when I see how much fun my girls have and all the great things they are learning!
