DD new to optionals. What is needed for L6 beam? Is a press handstand mount a B? What about a forward roll? How many A and B skills can they have? Is a BHS a B? What about a BHS back tuck dismount? DD is bringing home confusing information about number of which skill level (A or B) and whether connected skills are allowed (BWO or BHS BT dismount). Interested to hear from the pros!! Thanks in advance!

1. Press Handstand mount is a B.
2. A regular forward roll is an A.
However, a kick (into) handstand, forward roll to tuck stand is a B.
3. Level 6 needs 5 A and 1 B Skill. Extra B skills can substitute for A skills.
4. BHS is a B.
5. Connected skills are allowed.

Requirements for Level 6 Beam
  1. Non-flight Acro series (excluding mount & dismount) OR One Acro flight element, (isolated / in connection)
  2. One Leap / Jump that requires 180° Cross / Side-Split
  3. Min. of 360° turn on one foot (Grp 3)
  4. Aerial / salto dismount, min, “A”

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
