My daughter's routine currently has split leap/straddle jump, and her straddle jump is not so good. I've seen some gyms do switch leap/tuck jump, but her switch leap is probably as bad as her straddle jump. lol! Are there any other options? Her other passes are ro/bhs/bt, and a ft.
I just looked online so don't quote me on this but I think you can do any jump (split, tuck, wolf, stag etc) but your gym may have other requirements.

I say it’s better to get practice with the jumps and leaps now. Switch leaps…straddle jumps…both foundational skills needed for upper level gymnastics. Whether it’s on beam or the basics for harder leaps and jumps on floor. I would look for the root of the issue, is it flexibility (most likely), possibly dynamic issues w/ speed of motion? Whatever it is Level 6 is a good time to work on it now and not try to work around skills that are pretty important.
