Hey. Just looking for a bit of info on the grading and scoring system. We are in the UK.
My Daughter is 9 -going 10 this summer. Shes competing at level 5 currently and doing pretty well in comps. Getting placed in all 4 pieces. Can do all the moves for level 5 very well but obviously still can improve to remove some of the deductions she is getting in comps. My question is how as a parent do you know that she is ready for the next level ( 6 in this case) and that she is being progressed correctly ?
Are scores in comps disclosed or available ? (it all seems a bit cloak and dagger so to speak- which is fine)
She has a goal to be level 7 before turning 12.
Right now she can perform some level 6 compulsory's so it seems logical theres no reason for her to progress in the eyes of the coaches.
