Proud Parent
We went to get the MRI done and back to ortho today and he said that while the MRI shows healing and it is definitely a repetitive us injury to her growth plate. Yes it will heal, slowly. It's already been 7 weeks since the pain first started. He has her starting occupational therapy to start getting her ROM back. Still no to returning to gymnastics. With the injury being so severe the likelihood of a repeat is high.
But the good news is she has made a great transition to soccer. You know all those times your dd sprints down the vault runway? Well she has the ability to turn on the bust of speed neede to catch the opposing players breakaways. There is only one girl on her team that can keep up with her.

So glad she is enjoying her new sport. Gymnastics really does provide a great foundation for other sports.
