Hi everyone,

My name is John Ritz and I am 26 years old. I am about 5'7'' and 158 pounds. I workout at least 4x a week with my trainer in the gym, and grew from 119 to my current weight in about a year! I just signed up for my first training session with a gymnastics coach to go over some basics and possibly more. I've always dreamed about being good at tumbling and a few of the apparti ... hopefully this all works out.
I am paying about $25 for a 30 min session that is one-on-one probably once a week ... I may start expanding it if things go well and my pocketbook can afford it.

a FEW questions I had ...
What are possible drawbacks at starting at my age?
What kind of benefits should I expect?
How will be body react to this type of change in 4x week weightlifting to an additional day of gymnastics?
I am not looking to be an olympian, but would never be opposed to an adult gymnast competition or two!
