Ok, so I am assistant coach to a small city gym and we are trying to put together a plan for the next season that is best for our girls. I have 2 solid level 7s that I think we will move to level 8. 3 girls I have had compete lv 6 that I think have done ok. They may or may not have giants next season. All other level 7 skills are good. I have 8 level 5s which I have competed as prep gold this spring season and they are doing great. Just trying to anticipate the new level 6 requirements and am wondering if I should have everyone try to just score out. Will the parents understand? What is exactly the new level 6? I am a little frustrated as the options for competition are limited and the optional requirements still vauge.

Just train the kids the best you can for the three months. You should have a better idea of the level structure, as well as a clear idea which level each child should fit into. If the parents complain about being in the dark and having to wait that long..... well just tell them it's a burden that come along with the territory, and you carry the same burden as they...... just in a different way.

Until then train giants, for those who are ready, like they're the ticket to paradise. If they're not making the progress you'd hoped for, figure out what's missing and put it in place. Let me know if you need any help with any "missing ingredients".
