SO, our coach is wanting to do a destination meet, and is considering Orlando. we have been to Whitlow and loved it but he was looking at the other one. Seems like I remember people talking about parks being more crowded at that one, but I don't remember for sure.

Any pros or cons to either meet?

I have been to both. In my experience the Whitlow is much more competitive and harder, and more stressful. The Presidential is a bit less competitive but much funner.
Both are great meets and of course in Orlando at the best time of year.

They are both great meets and the parks are likely to be crowded at both of those. Presidential is President's Weekend. VERY popular Disney weekend.

Both very good meets. Putting gymnastics aside- the expense for Presidential is double what we paid for our other Orlando meet. Rental cars, flights, hotels are all significantly higher in price that weekend! Not to mention Disney was CRAZY CRAZY CRAZY busy (and I've been to Disney over Christmas!)

if the parks are the deciding factor then go for the Whitlow. If it is for the meet experience, they are both very good and well run. One is a bit more 'fun' than the other.
thats my 2cents,

We went to the Sand Dollar meet that runs along with the Whitlow.

It was a really great and fun meet. The weather was on the cool side. We did Universal instead of Disney and I didn't find it too busy.

Haven't done whitlow but did presidential this year, the meet was super super fun and the whole trip was fantastic, level of gymnastics however wasn't great, girls side the girls were on par with but the boys side our boys were miles ahead, we said because of this we wouldn't go back to presidential just for that fact as it wasn't really a competition for the boys but would definitely definitely recommend it for girls and they all had a fantastic time so I feel it your looking for fun definitely go for presidential as I can't even explain how much our kids loved it, if your looking for competition (for boys this is) then I would say choose a different one :)
