NinaGymnast

Hi, my name is Sabrina im mother of nina she is 11 and we live in a small town in germany since 3 month.
My daughter is in gymnastics since she is 5 years old. We traveled to a new city (a small one) theres is only a boys gymnast team.
So my daugther trains since 3 months only with boys, she does rings pommel horse and all the training that the other boys do.
So my question is, since she does boys training she turns into a pure muscle puppet.
She ever head lean muscles, but after this 3 month boys training she becomes outstanding muscles, no one is able to tell is this bad for my lil girl that she build up those heavy muscles at these young age.
Sorry for my bad english i hope you understand my question.

i think you said that she has never had lean muscles. and all that "heavy muscle" won't hurt her. you need to find a girls gymnastics program though.:)

Agree. As long as she's working with her own body weight she'll be fine. So not lifting weights or the like, just press ups, sit ups and other gymnastic conditioning where she's using her own body.

There have been gymnasts train with men. If I recall correctly Elena Davydova was one.

Find a girls program though, or maybe a coach to come into your club. Surely there must be other girls interested?

I bet she'll progress really fast if she's conditioning with boys!
