Recommendations for Gym's Open House

Yesterday the owner of my DD's dance and gymnastics center decided that we were having an open house in about 4 weeks. He asked that the team parents help out with the planning, but we have never been to one before. I have a few ideas, but I would like to hear recommendations on the do's and dont's for a successful open house. I fiqured you guys would be the best source of information. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
