Not my DD. But our one and only L10. (im not sure how the other girls did at States. Just our L10 because she helps teach the itties)
She got first AA at states. There is only 4 or 5 L10s in our state. Is that normal? I know L10 is a place alot dont make it to..but 4 or 5 seems like a really low number.
This is her 3 yr of L10. Last year she got 1st AA at states, and 15th at regionals (Region 3). The year before (2009) she got 2nd at states, not sure about regionals.
But just wanted to brag about our L10. She really is a very special girl. Such a wonderful soul. She will be truely missed when she moves to ALASKA.. She got a full ride scholarship to the University of Alaska. Still can't understand why her own state didn't want her. Never will get that.
Anyway. I still need to find out how the other girls did. But wanted to brag. She just swiped the whole meet. If she posts her videos on her youtube I will link them here. She has a public profile over there so I wont be letting you all in the back door of her account...lol. It will all be on the up and up.

That's great for her and I love that she helps teach the little ones. I'm sure the bigger states have many more level 10's but I don't know if it's normal for smaller or less populated states to have only 4 or 5 (and i don't know whether your state would be considered small or less populated). We have maybe 8-10 level 10's in the gym Anna goes to, so I know there are quite a few in our state. Anyway, congrats to her for getting a scholarship, even if it is all the way up in COLD Alaska. That's a great accomplishment!

Congrats to her! What a great role model for Kadee.
I think such a small number happens in smaller states or states where gymnastics isn't quite as popular. Looking through some results, it doesn't look like Wyoming had any level 10s last season. I think Delaware often holds their state meet in conjunction with Pennsylvania or Maryland for lack of numbers. Not sure about other states though. But regardless of numbers, getting to level 10 wherever you are is a HUGE accomplishment!

Congrats to her!

I love hearing about the 'big kids' who help teach the littles--it means everything to the younger kids. And a full ride scholarship, good for her!
