Parents Schedule Question

Parents who’s gymnast are training or are Hopes/Elite, how many days a week does your daughters go to practice? I have a feeling we’re about to switch to 6 days a week. Just wondering does other gyms do that?

Summer is 5 days a week. School year will be 5 days a week with Wednesdays and sundays off. They plan to do some occasional Wednesday practices, like once or twice a month. This is for all the gymnasts doing HOPES and elite.

I will add that they are all afternoon start times. All our elite training gymnasts still attend public school.

Nope. She still attends public school and we hope to have her stay in public school through graduation.

My daughters old school told her she was missing to much time and basically got kicked out

My daughter is a part time student so her missed days dont count against her. She missed 40 days last year.

My daughter is not on that track, but the elites at our gym train 5 days a week.

I should also add that all of our upper levels train 5 days a week. The elite track girls just come in earlier than the JO girls.

We train 5 days a week half the year & 6 days a week the other half. This is only for the homeschool groups. The girls who attend school practice 5 days a week all year.
