I get Shin Splints often and I was looking to see if any one knows of anything that would help. I have some of the sleeves but they don't seem like they help that much plus they get really hot.

Ice. Taking breaks. Don't walk quickly to places to avoid aggravating the muscles before doing gymnastics. Or this is what I do.

Ok I ice them after practice but is there anything that can prevent them like I know there are some tapes that can prevent shin splints but do they work?

I used kt tape and it works great! And it stays on for a few days and they have cool colors Ice and massage them. Take some breaks and limit impact.

Do you leave it on for like 2-3 days Straight or do you take it off and put it back on?
You keep it on, once you take it off you don't put it back on. The regular KT tape stayed on my ankle for about 3 days, the KT tape Pro stays on almost a week.
