Parents Something exciting tonight

The team girls walked in tonight, did their normal running routine and then out walked John Macready, owner of FlipFest and 1998 Olympic gymnast. He spent about 15 minutes talking to them about their goals in life, etc..... It was so exciting for all of them. My dd was SUPER excited b/c we have researched FlipFest for her to attend, and she knew right away who he was. Cool for the girls........and me!!!!!

Unless she changes her mind in the next six months, Bella will be going to FlipFest next summer. She will be 7 by then and wants to go. She has wanted to go to camp since her "Barney" days a long time ago.

She wouldn't have known who JR was but would have thought it was cool to have "the camp owner" in the gym! What a treat for your kids.

My dd corrected me this morning.....it was the 1996 Atlanta Olympic games that John was in. Don't ya just love when your kids are right......and you're wrong?!?!?!
