I am not exactly sure if it has an exact name or if it is even an official skill but is a “handstand roll down to stalder press” on floor more difficult than a static stalder/press handstand? I saw a video of some MAG boys working them and I couldn’t figure out if the momentum from the roll makes it easier or harder since they have to reverse that to go into the press?

It depends, if you're struggling more with the shoulder strength, then the momentum of the roll might help a little. If you struggle more on the compression side, then it might be easier from static.
From a pure strength point of view, it requires more strength to do it from static. But doing it from a roll you need more control.
