I’m trying to learn a straddleback, and I keep having the same consistency issue of hitting/catching my ankles on the low bar when i catch. I’m about 5’6 and on FIG, I completely cannot do the skill Becuase my feet hit before I even release. On further settings, I have trouble getting the backwards motion to catch safely. Does anyone have any tips/drills for getting my feet out of the low bar?
