Hi, I have a gymnast aged 13 and she is coming from the Teamgym program at my gym. She came and I told her to work on conditioning. I am not familiar with Teamgym and I had no idea how I should even begin to transition her. If anyone can help me figure how to do the switch between artistic and teamgym. I am also a coach in Britain if that helps. Also I need help because she is coming Saturday and I want to actually get her working. ANy help is appreciated, Thanks! :)

Our club does both teamgym and artistic, with the same athletes.

I would asses her on skills first. Most likely she is ahead on vault and floor, and behind more on bars and possibly beam. But she isnt scared of being upside down and flipping and she is probably quite strong too, so the other events possibly come easier than they would to a complete newbie.

Good luck!

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
