The Florida Freeze

For all of you who traveled to Central Florida this weekend for the Sand Dollar at Disney's Wide World of Sports....So sorry about the weather, but at least we got sunshine and no snow...................yet!

Our team is down there! One of the coaches came back early with an early report of how much fun the girls had at DisneyWorld. Unfortunately the teams haven't been really successful but we have a L4 who is/was in the running for what the coach called "the globe". So at least one individual has had a successful meet. The coach said she thought the girls were having a hard time focusing after their day at the Magic Kingdom. Apparently we had a lot of beam falls and even a couple of bar falls.

Anyway, just wanted to say that weather aside, at least some girls are having a blast!

Wow! The globe, that's so cool...everyone would like one, but only a few get them...so if she gets it...good for her, she obviously did an excellent job. And as for not being really successful, not thinking our teams were either although I haven't checked the team placements yet...but they had a blast and that's what counts...and I'm sure the Disney thing was also a lot of fun and the weather was nice for that cuz you really like it a bit cooler there anyway.
