Tid bit of info that thrills my DD

My DD is a 7 year old level 4, who at the age of 8 months from adopted from Kazakhstan, and loves Nastia. Now I know that her dad competed for the former USSR, but did not now until today that he is a Kazak born Russia. DD is totally thrilled that she was born in the same country at Nastia's dad.

I checked it out, we had to finalize our adoption in Moscow, and we were in Red Square, we walked thru the mall that she showed and also shopped at the area that she was looking at the Russian stacking dolls. It brought back lots of memories.

I glad that your DD found that out. One of my DD's was born in Russia and she's the same way. Everytime she hears about some one from Russia her ears perk up. My DD"s birth name was Svetlana and we also joke that since there were a lot of great gymnasts from Russia with that name that she was destined to be a gymnast.
