Women Tour jete leap?

I want to start working tour jetes. They look so cool! But i'm kind of lost as to how to start or do them. Can anyone explain please? Thanks in advance!

I am sure you can find some YouTube videos! My biggest tip is to try to imagine yourself between two walls are something. Your legs cannot be swinging around side to side. You have to be squared to each side when your legs kick both times. If that makes sense.

Oh i looked! Im just having trouble figuring it out. Im so confused. Do you swing your bad leg first or....

I think you kick your good leg first

I take ballet and we do them all of the time. Kick your leg which ever one you want to first. While you are kicking that leg jump,turn and in the process bring your other leg up in the back. You can start small and progressively make them bigger as you get more confident. My teacher says that the leg that comes up in the back should be slightly higher than the one that comes in the front. Sorry if I just confused u.
