Coaches Training the initial hip tilt on ladder bars

Maybe stall bars?

how are other coaches training the change from 90degree legs on ladder bar, to that very first tilt of the hips to get toes to the bar without compromising strait legs? It’s a brutal habit in our gym and I know I need to start small with the kids. Any suggestions?

For what skill... a kip?
