(Not a back twister, but this is what I learnt from front twisting + what I've heard from other girls learning back twisting). You have to wait a second, so you can rise to have enough height when you twist. What helps me to say a word in my head to remember to wait before twisting.

For example, Once I punch off the ground, I will say "Wait" and then I will start twisting. This also helps stay in the correct body position as well.

In general terms, the solution is to focus on positions and mechanics, rather than on twisting. There are progressions to break this down on trampoline and make it easier (hence my earlier question), but in the big picture here's what you want to do:

Don't try to twist. Don't try to do a full. Try to do a layout, but after you set, bring one arm (the one you'll twist towards) out to the side after leaving the floor, then bring the arms in and watch the ground.

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
