this week i did some pretty nice beam routines, and a first ever nice yerchenko full layed out
also a first double layout on floor, which is pretty ugly and inconsistent right now.
i also did a half in half out but i cant remember if that was this week..or last week?? lol
 
I'm actually getting sort of consistent with kipping out of toe shoots. Yay, there's that flight element requirement:D:D
 
well i havent been training my tuck tsuk for like 2 or 3 weeks and i just did it on monday 2-9-09 and i almost landed it for the first time with my 2 coaches spotting me!!! my goals are to actually land it for the first time!!! i had a dream a few weeks ago that i was at a meet and my first vault was a half on half off and my second vault was my tuck tsuk and i landed it for the first time...at the meet!!! fyi this was a dream. but thats my #1 goal!!
 
This week I managed to get out of my fear factor for handstands on beam, started to get the hang of front tucks, still need quite a bit of help on pull overs, but that is coming along.
 
It's truly amazing what goofing off can do: I managed to finally stick my switch split leap on floor after coaching tonight! (Which I promptly lost as soon as I got home :P) I also got my right leg split all the way down(after two weeks off, wow!)!
 
My clear hips on bars are really coming along now, too. No handstand yet, but I got a couple above 45° from vertical today... my new problem is continueing on out of them: Too much swing for baby giants, too little for real giants (besides, I can only do them on a strap bar), too scared to do a flyaway out of them. And on the low bar hitting my feet would be a major problem (sometimes I wish I was shorter)
 
This week at my meet, I stuck my floor routine. I didn'y have ANY extra steps. I scored a 9.5 (my highest)!!!!
Next week, I want to work on no wobbles in my beam routine. I almost fell at my meet, but I caugt myself.
 
Last night I taught myself one hand cartwheel! And I tried back handspring again for the first time in several months, almost a year! With a large amount of spotting, but I'm now feeling pretty confident about trying again next week.

Back walkover on beam! I did it without a spot. It was a little shaky but I did'nt twist or fall like I usually do so.... I'm happy!
 
My hs gymnastics team made it to state!!! It's this friday and saturday so I'm really happy and I hope we do really good!
 
I finally stuck my bwo on beam in a meet:D:D:D!!!!!!!! It is a really big deal for me because I have had some major fear issues on this skill:(, but I finally made it:D! Next week, I want to get my endurance back (I was out sick for 2 weeks:(!), so I can make it through my floor routine without passing out:p.
 
Though I still need spotting to get fully over on them, I have progressed WICKED far with my pullover on bars, and did my first BHC, though it was again, with a coach spotting me. But nonetheless:o
 
this probably is not a very big a deal for most people but after mildly spraining my ankle last week on my flyaway 1/2 i did them again yesterday! this is like a huge deal for me!
 
Well, this week i accomplished
Vault
nothing. if it went anywhere, it just went down.
Bars
nm. just routines. BORING!
Beam
Stuck 1:5 layoutstepouts (bad ratio i know, but its better than it has been)
Floor
Stood up a few front 1/1s and some back 2/1s.

i'm just hoping i can make everything in my meet today...
 
I did my kip for the first time yesterday! I was so excited. :)

Congrats! It took me FOREVER AND EVER to get mine, i got it like two weeks ago. (My coach got me ice cream :D ) and i hope to get my high bar kip next week but this week i got my round off bhs bhs again (i lost it for like a month, it was weird)
 
well this week I got my back layout step out, tsuk, backwalkover(again. Any one from WGC in aus will know this is a big deal for me...) back layout 1 1/2 twist(again)
I get alot of skills back after the holidays are over (we have a 6 week break)
 
I got my cast squat on!

I got bored after water break and started messing around. And then I just did it! :D

My goal for this monday is round off back handspring. Or just standing bhs. Whichever comes first!
 
One hand cartwheel...BOTH WAYS! :D

Next goal: Aerial cartwheel!

(As far as non-gym accomplishments goes: drove by myself twice - first times ever! and got a raise! :P)
 
made high bar kip (finally!!)

i made my high bar kip two times today! My coach missed the first one but everyone was screaming so shes like "you made a high bar!" (i was still up there anyway...) i also got past my strange fear of back hipcircles on high bar :D today was a good bar day
