I'm an 18 year old Gymnast + Free runner i love to be at that gym i basically live there and currently a part time instructor and if i'm not at the gym im out and about doing some tricks etc, and recently i've been thinking about owning my own gym later in life and i was wondering what i'd need to do to go about doing that. i've been told to take up a personal fitness and some other courses at a college and that i need a license to own my own gym, but i'm not really sure where to start.. any help on this would be a great benefit

MONEY/Financing is your first step along with a degree of some type in Business Management with the focus on Sports management as well. Being the "Owner" is very different from being the coach and your focus should be more on the business operations as the owner. It doesn't matter what business you want to start the education you need will be similar. Talk to a guidance councilor at your (if you have graduated and are ready to go to college/university then go back to your school you just finished) They can help direct you down a path that will be focused to do what you hope you want to do. Going into a business without the proper foundation on how to run it is a recipie for failure and working in a gym isn't the same thing as running one.
