Gymnasts xcel gold -> lvl 7

this is a GENUINE question im competing xcel gold this year and i might be able to have the opportunity to bump up to level 7 next year, to do that would i have to compete level 5 at one meet and get the 32AA total to qualify or can i just compete or is it not possible? my skills match up to a level 5 gymnast if that helps any

Assuming you are at least 12 years old, you may petition into any level 7 and below.

Level 5 and Level 6 are pretty close as far as skill ability goes. If you don't have kip cast handstand giant flyaway on bars... then you may want to consider looking into Level 6.
