Gymnasts Xcl. Category?

Hi all,

We just completed our first ever competition and my daughter is stoked! Can someone clue me in on how categories work?

She is xcel junior silver "group a" and there was a "group b"

Is junior and senior status determined by age or skill?

Same question with groups; what determines A vs B?

hi! I am a silver who just competed too! Same comp? maybe! comp groups are made based on the ages of the gymnasts. They take everyone's age and split them up into categories! Your daughter is a younger junior, so she is one of the younger middles of the comp! Jr B means older middle, and same with Sr and ch (younger ch, older sr, etc)

Do you happen to track scores on meetscores online? That's my next thing to figure out
