Parents Xmas Display

So so proud of DD. She moved clubs a month ago now, and tonight she had her first performance with them (and she'd only had a couple of sessions to learn the routine) as part of the club's annual Christmas Display.
She was so much more confident than when she performed back with her old club in the summer, and you could see just how much she loves what she's doing. So the risk of moving clubs was definitely worth it for us!

As part of the display though, we were lucky enough to see their home grown elite girls & boys, several of which compete for GB. Going from seeing them in videos on YouTube from various competitions, to having them land tumbles literally feet away, even I'm in awe! Took me until gone 11 to convince DD to go to bed after all that lol

Thrilled for you. Sounds a pretty similar experience to my DD (it was her first display too). I wasn't sure spending so much time practising a display was a good idea at first but it has been a great confidence boost.
