So I was asked by a friend to create a boy version of the journal / scorebook for her nephew. I know close to nothing about men's gymnastics. And hadn't considered making one because - well, I don't have sons and I didn't think boys would be interested in that (I know , very sexist of me) Anyone have any thoughts?

different events obviously . . .

Is the scoring and levels the same?

Probably more score / skill focused?

Any direction, suggestions or advise is appreciated.

THANKS!!!
Debbie

My son is on preteam. I think they do score out of 16 or 18 or something per event. You probably should post in the MAG forum to find someone with a clue.

They score out of 16 but Vault maxes out at 15.7 for compulsories.

One coach I know had these little journals throughout his whole team so the boy's did them as well. I haven't seen them used in most MAG programs and I don't generally do it myself, but it's a good idea.

It's been an educating experience!

I finished the book - thank you :D
